“New roof was needed on a house I was selling after the buyers home inspection. It needed to be done quickly and up to the inspectors standards and had to have a warranty and guarantee. After speaking to several other roofers who were not willing to provide a warranty or who were too expensive, Pappas responded rapidly and gave us a quote with a long term warranty on labor and materials in less than 24 hrs from the time we called them. Once the contract was signed they had the job completed in 2 days and provided us with the paperwork and warranty for the new buyers so we could close on time. This is the 2nd time I have used them and both times they were prompt, professional and did the job quickly and properly with no hassles. I have recommended them to others and will use them anytime I have a roofing issue in the future.“

“Sealing of basement: installed insulation between rafters, sprayed foam around pipes to close gaps; identified and repaired gaps/hole. Installed new gutters. Assessed water damage and suggested alternative solutions, recommended most economical and proceeded. Replaced roof, Inside attic installed baffles to keep soffit clear; build insulated hatch. Pointed out other problem areas, some minor, some major; provided recommendations. Quality work, honest assessments, no excess charges as compared to other contractors who made bids which included inflated charges or unnecessary work.

I had a serious mold problem in my attic which softened the wood and required a new roof, plus insulation. Also, basement needed sealing; and other energy efficiency measures recommended by an energy audit performed by another contractor. First two contractors indicated included repairs in their list that weren’t needed. Pappas Company came on first available date in their schedule, weather permitting. Their team of workers worked practically non-stop; cleaned up everything; very polite and courteous; I’m very pleased.“

“Spent time going over the details of the project including scope and types of shingles. Complete removal of two old roofs; re-sheathed much of the roof as sheathing needed replacement (house is 100+ years old and had fire in the 1960s). Did a nice job of reroofing and flashing. Hauled old roofing material away, leaving lawn spotlessly clean (no nails!).

Crew supervisor has been with the company a while; crew members worked quickly and efficiently under his direction. Very responsive to any questions and concerns.“
